Workplace safety is about preventing injury and illness to employees and volunteers in the workplace. Employers that implement effective safety and health management systems may expect to significantly reduce injuries and illnesses and reduce the cost associated with them, including workers’ compensation payments, medical expenses, and lost productivity. In addition, employers often find that process and other changes made to improve workplace safety and health may result in significant improvements to their organization’s productivity and profitability.

California state law AB1825, which is part of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, first became effective August 17, 2007. The legislation mandates state-wide sexual harassment training for any employee who performs supervisory functions within a company of 50 employees or more. These supervisory employees are required to complete at least two hours of effective training every two years on the prevention of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
California harassment training stipulations are meticulously detailed in AB1825. The regulations aren’t always intuitive and will result in serious consequences if not complied with properly. As a premier provider of workplace harassment training, Milestone will cater to your organization’s unique needs in complying with AB1825.BOOK IT
